The Region is part of the Thracian lowlands with moderate-continental climate and a good distribution of rainfall throughout the growing season. Here you can find most of the red grape varieties of Bulgaria. The climatic conditions of the area, protected by severe winds, favors the production of gorgeous, rich, full-bodied red wines that display ripe forest fruits aromas and flavourful spicy, herbal character.
The climate of the region is continental with continuous sunshine in the summer and mild, warm autumn, resulting in good ripening of the grapes that accumulate all the substances necessary for the production of quality wines.

Being part of the climatic zone of the Eastern Balkan Mountains, this area has a moderate continental climate with an average annual temperature of 12.2 ° C and an average annual rainfall of 539 mm.
Considering the characteristics of soils and favorable climatic conditions, the area is very suitable for the cultivation of vineyards and production of very good quality grapes.

The place is carefully selected in a mountainous, environmentaly clean area, away from the big city. The different varieties are planted taking into consideration the specific soil and climate characteristics of this region.
The rest of the vineyards are located in the vicinity the town of Bolyarovo and the village of Tenevo, Yambol Region, two areas with viticulture traditions and very good combination of soil and climate, ideal for production of red grape varieties. < br/> < br/> Near Bolyarovo there is a 100 ha masiff with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. In 2006 the company added new lots planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The cinnamon-forest soils here contribute to the desired sweetness and full-bodiedness of the wines.
The vineyards are handled by a new, modern planting machines, meeting all EU requirements -cultivators with evasive sections, providing very good treatment of the soil; sprayers with ultra small-size spraying, ensuring good coverage in the treatment with plant protection products and protecting plants from pathogens; contour machines engaged in green pruning during the vegetation period, also providing good sun exposure of the bunches in order grapes to accumulate more sugars and coloring pigments.
Topolitza is located in the Bulgarian Eastern Wine Region. This region is characterized by a sandy-clay soils with content of total carbonates up to 52 % at a depth of 150-200 cm.
Topolitza falls within the climatic zone of the Eastern Balkan Mountains with moderate continental climate. The area is characterized by warm summers and mild winters. Summer temperatures are about 22-24 º C. Mean annual air temperature -12,1 º C. An average annual amount of precipitation-540 mm. Duration of the period of detaining stable temperatures above 15 º C -151 days. Altitude - 150 m above the sea level.
